Beware this 311m par 4, its length requires only a short, but requires an accurate drive from an elevated tee. There is out of bounds down the left and a line of trees down the right. Even a slight slice with the prevailing wind off the left will end up in the trees, and the only saviour to a hooked tee short are the 2 trees 50m from the tee. The green is exposed to the prevailing wind, so putts can be tricky.
Pro’s Tip: A drawn long iron or 3/5 wood into the prevailing wind will leave a short iron into the green.
Danger Zone: Out of bounds all the way down the left influences drive and approach shots. A sliced drive onto the adjacent practice fairway requires a very high or very low second, or third, or fourth (Etc) shot.
